Honda will introduce a redesigned ‘H mark’ logo on its next-generation EVs and hybrids from 2027, symbolising brand transformation and its commitment to expanding the future of mobility.
Honda has confirmed that it will adopt a redesigned ‘H mark’ logo for its upcoming generation of electric vehicles and hybrid models, starting from 2027. The new emblem was first showcased on the Honda 0 Series and signals a visual shift aligned with the company’s future mobility strategy.
The ‘H mark’ has been a defining part of Honda’s identity since 1963, representing its automobile business and broader corporate activities. Over the decades, the logo has been refined multiple times to reflect changes in design language, technology, and brand positioning. The latest update continues this evolution, marking a clear departure from earlier interpretations of the emblem.
The new logo features two extended shapes meeting at the centre to form the letter ‘H’. Honda describes this design as resembling outstretched hands, symbolising the brand’s intention to expand the possibilities of mobility. The form reflects openness, progress, and a willingness to explore new ideas as the company moves towards an increasingly electrified future.
According to Honda, the updated ‘H mark’ represents more than just a visual refresh. It expresses the company’s commitment to transformation at both a technological and philosophical level. The logo is meant to capture Honda’s approach of challenging conventions, embracing innovation, and continuously pushing beyond its traditional boundaries.
It looks like Honda aims to create a distinct identity for its next-generation products while maintaining a connection to its heritage. The change also reflects the automaker’s broader shift towards electrification, software-driven mobility, and sustainable transportation solutions.
