The Alcazar facelift is expected to be priced between ₹17 - 24 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Hyundai India is gearing up to launch the Alcazar facelift in India on September 9, 2024. While the South Korean manufacturer has revealed a tonne of information on the three-row SUV, the prices still remain under wraps. The Alcazar facelift, once launched, will continue to rival the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari and the MG Hector Plus.
The outgoing Alcazar is priced between ₹16.77 - 21.28 lakh* and expect the facelift to come with a slight premium. It is likely to start at around ₹17 lakh* and go up to ₹24 lakh* for the top-spec variant. For perspective, the XUV700 is priced between ₹13.99 - 25.14 lakh*, the Safari’s prices range from ₹15.49 - 25.59 lakh* and the Hector Plus is priced between ₹17.30 - 22.93 lakh*. *All prices (ex-showroom, India).

Of the lot, the Safari is the only one to not get a petrol engine. It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 bhp and 350 Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Alcazar gets a choice of either a 158 bhp, 253 Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 114 bhp, 250 Nm, 1.5-litre diesel engine. While both get a 6-speed manual, the former gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and the latter gets a 6-speed automatic. The XUV700 comes with a 197 bhp, 380 Nm, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine with two states of tune (153 bhp and 360 Nm or 182 bhp and up to 450 Nm). Lastly, the MG Hector comes with either a 141 bhp, 250 Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 168 bhp, 350 Nm, 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both engines get a 6-speed manual but only the petrol gets a CVT automatic.
