Available in a single E trim, the Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG Duo adds two CNG cylinder technology.
After the Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo, the latest to join Hyundai’s Hy-CNG Duo range is the Aura Hy-CNG Duo, launched at ₹7.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Available in a single E trim, the Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG Duo adds two CNG cylinder technology, which is also seen on Tata’s iCNG models- Punch, Tiago, Tigor and even the Altroz. Hyundai says the new CNG option is a direct response to the growing demand for more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles in the Indian market.
Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited said, "At Hyundai, we continuously strive to innovate and offer products that resonate with the needs of our customers. The Hyundai AURA Hy-CNG E trim is a testament to our commitment to providing eco-friendly mobility solutions without compromising on style, safety, or performance.”
The Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E trim comes equipped with front power windows, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable rear seat headrests and a 3.5-inch speedometer with a multi-information display. As far as safety features go, the Aura Hy-CNG Duo comes with 6 airbags, 3 point seat belts for all seats, seatbelt reminder for all seats and a host of safety features. The company-fitted CNG gets a leak-proof design, CNG switch, and CNG refueling nozzle near petrol filling area.
The Hyundai AURA Hy-CNG E trim is powered by a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel petrol with CNG engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering 68 bhp at 6000 rpm and 95.2 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The Hyundai AURA Hy-CNG offers fuel efficiency of 28.4 kmpkg.
