With the financial year drawing to a close, several major automobile manufacturers have introduced significant discounts on their popular models to boost sales and clear out older stock. Hyundai, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Honda have rolled out various benefits, including cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and additional incentives, making March an opportune time for prospective buyers.
Hyundai has launched its "Super Delight March" campaign, offering discounts on several models to make its lineup more accessible. The Hyundai Venue is being offered with benefits of up to ₹55,000, while the Hyundai i20 comes with benefits of approximately ₹50,000. The Grand i10 Nios has discounts of up to ₹53,000, and the Hyundai Exter is available with benefits of ₹35,000.
These discounts are valid across all Hyundai dealerships until March 31, 2025. Additional savings can be availed through scrappage and loyalty bonuses, further enhancing affordability for buyers.
Tata Motors has also introduced significant price reductions on select models, with discounts varying based on the model year. The Tata Tiago is available with a discount of ₹35,000 on older stock, while MY25 units, except for the base XE trim, receive benefits of ₹25,000. The Tata Nexon is being offered with a maximum discount of ₹45,000 on all petrol and diesel variants, while MY25 models receive benefits of ₹15,000.
The Tata Altroz receives the highest discount among Tata vehicles, with price reductions of up to ₹1 lakh on older stock and ₹45,000 on MY25 variants. These discounts remain subject to stock availability and state-specific regulations.
Maruti Suzuki has extended its discount program across both its Nexa and Arena lineups. The Maruti Ignis AMT variants receive a total benefit of ₹67,100, while manual variants get ₹35,000 in cash discounts. The Baleno comes with benefits of up to ₹45,000, including a scrappage bonus of ₹30,000. The Maruti Ciaz offers discounts up to ₹50,000, with the highest benefits available on the turbocharged Zeta and Alpha variants. The Fronx is being offered with total benefits of up to ₹1.1 lakh. The Grand Vitara and XL6 receive scrappage benefits of ₹25,000, while the Maruti Jimny’s top variant gets a cash discount of ₹1 lakh.
Under the Arena segment, discounts extend to models such as the Alto K10, S-Presso, Wagon R, and Celerio, with benefits reaching up to ₹82,100. The new Maruti Swift is available with a maximum discount of ₹75,000 on MY24 models and ₹60,000 on MY25 variants. Meanwhile, the Maruti Brezza sees a total discount of up to ₹35,000.
Honda Cars India has also introduced aggressive discounts to attract buyers. The Honda City e:HEV receives a direct cash discount of ₹90,000, while other variants like ZX, XZ, V, and SV offer benefits worth ₹73,300. Honda’s Elevate SUV is available with discounts up to ₹86,100 on the top-end ZX CVT variant, while the manual transmission version gets a price cut of ₹66,100.
The Honda Amaze receives the highest discount among Honda cars, with benefits of up to ₹1.07 lakh on the second-generation model. The Amaze VX CNG variant gets additional benefits of ₹40,000, while the E and S variants receive discounts of ₹57,200 and ₹67,200, respectively.
