Hyundai Motor India has launched the Venue Knight Edition for a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end dual-tone SX(O) variant costs Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition has been launched only in the two petrol-powered versions. The Venue Knight Edition is available in 4 Monotone and 1 dual-tone color options – Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray, Fiery Red and Fiery Red with Abyss Black.
Just like the Creta Knight Edition, the Venue Knight Edition also gets certain cosmetic changes in comparison to the standard version of the Venue. On the outside, it gets a blacked-out front grille and logo, brass coloured front and rear bumpers along with brass coloured inserts on the roof rails and front wheels. In fact, the roof rails, shark-fin antenna and ORVMs are painted black, as well. There’s also a Knight emblem and the Hyundai logo at the back gets a dark chrome treatment along with the Venue badge. The Knight Edition also has red brake calipers at the front and black coloured alloy wheels or wheel covers depending on the trim. The skid plates, both front and bath, get the all-black treatment, while the door handles are body coloured.
On the inside, the Venue Knight Edition gets an all-black interior with brass coloured inserts, which also extends to the upholstery. Hyundai has also added a dashcam with dual cameras and an auto-dimming IRVM. The Knight Edition also gets 3D mats and metal pedals. As mentioned earlier, the Venue Knight Edition comes with two petrol-powered powertrains. There’s the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. There’s also the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque. The gearbox options on this motor include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT.
