Deliveries for the new Skoda Elroq start in early 2025 and will arrive in India by mid-2025.
Škoda has unveiled the India-bound Elroq, its first fully electric compact SUV. Positioned in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, the starting price of the new Elroq is around €33,000 (approx. ₹30.63 lakh) before state subsidies. Deliveries for the new Skoda Elroq start in early 2025 and will arrive in India by mid-2025.
The Elroq introduces Škoda’s new "Modern Solid" design language, combining robust aesthetics with functional engineering. Its exterior stands out with clean lines, a distinctive “Tech Deck Face” replacing the traditional radiator grille, and new lighting elements. The vehicle debuts in a unique Timiano Green colour, one of nine available finishes.
The headlights, available in standard LED and advanced Matrix LED formats, reflect Škoda’s signature four-eyed design. A connecting light band between the headlights is exclusive to the First Edition model. The Elroq’s aerodynamic design, including active cooling features and air-curtain optimisations, ensures a low drag coefficient of 0.26.
Inside, the Elroq focuses on space and sustainability. Its 13-inch central infotainment display and a physical button bar simplify vehicle controls. Optional Augmented Reality heads-up display projects dynamic driving data onto the windshield. The Digital Cockpit provides essential information clearly, while the Elroq boasts the largest boot in its class with a capacity of up to 1,580 litres.
The Škoda Elroq is 4,488 mm long, 1,884 mm wide and 1,625 mm tall. Its wheelbase measures a generous 2,765 mm, and the kerb weight is 1,949 kg.
Based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Elroq offers a variety of powertrain options with three battery sizes: 55 kWh, 63 kWh, and 82 kWh. The entry-level Elroq 50 features a 168 bhp motor with a range of over 370 km, while the top-tier Elroq 85 boasts a 282 bhp motor and a range exceeding 560 km. The Elroq 85x adds all-wheel drive for enhanced performance. At DC fast-charging stations, the Elroq can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 24 minutes.
