The Honda Elevate SUV has become the first India-made Honda car to achieve a 5-star safety rating in the Japan NCAP crash test. The Elevate marketed as the Honda WR-V in Japan, performed exceptionally well in the crash assessment, scoring 176.23 out of 193.8 points overall.
The Made-In-India Honda Elevate demonstrated impressive safety credentials across multiple testing categories. In the preventive safety evaluation, it scored 82.22 out of 85.8 points, whilst achieving 86.01 out of 100 points in the collision safety test. The Elevate received the highest Level 5 rating in the Autonomous Emergency Braking test and earned full marks (8 out of 8) for its Automatic Emergency Call System. Additionally, it secured Level 4 out of 5 for pedestrian head protection and Level 5 out of 5 for pedestrian leg protection.

Safety features on the Honda Elevate include a comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package in top-tier models. This incorporates Collision Mitigation Brake System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Assist System and Lead Car Departure Notification System. Standard safety equipment across all variants includes six airbags, energy-absorbing front pre-tensioner seat belts and ISOFIX compatible rear side seats.

The Honda Elevate is available in four variants in India: SV, V, VX and ZX, with prices ranging from ₹11.91 lakh to ₹16.71 lakh (ex-showroom). The special Black Edition is priced slightly higher at ₹16.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
