Infinix GT 10 Pro's standout features is its translucent back that is also equipped with LED lights.
The Infinix GT 10 Pro, a smartphone that has been touted as a game-changer in the budget category, has made its debut in India. Priced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the device is powered by the robust MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset. It also boasts a large vapour chamber, an AMOLED screen, and a bypass charging feature, which allows the phone to be used while plugged in without depleting the battery, thereby extending the battery's lifespan.
One of the standout features of the device is its triple camera system, housed on a translucent back that is also equipped with LED lights. These lights can be synced with notifications, a feature reminiscent of the Nothing Phone (2). The Infinix GT 10 Pro will be available in two colours — Cyber Black and Mirage Silver — and is set to go on sale on Flipkart from today.
The phone runs on Android 13 with the XOS overlay. While the company's promise of an upgrade to Android 14 and two security updates may not be the most impressive commitment in the industry, the phone's impressive specifications more than compensate for this.
The AMOLED screen of the Infinix GT 10 Pro is a notable feature, boasting a full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display also achieves a peak brightness level of 900 nits. The device is equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with the option to virtually expand the RAM to 16GB. The phone also features a double-axis linear motor, suggesting that the haptic feedback could be quite impressive.
The rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel sensor paired with two 2-megapixel cameras. Despite their low resolution, the phone does feature a high-quality 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The Infinix GT 10 Pro is a 5G-enabled phone and also supports NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, thanks to the AMOLED screen, and dual speakers with DTS and high-resolution audio certification.
The phone's battery capacity is a generous 5,000mAh, supporting 45W fast charging. In an interesting twist, the phone's box can be converted into a stand and an audio box, which amplifies the sound from the dual speaker system. This combination of features and specifications makes the Infinix GT 10 Pro a compelling choice in the budget smartphone category.
