The Infinix GT Verse gaming ecosystem and products will be announced in India on May 6.
Infinix has begun releasing a series of teasers about its upcoming gaming-centric GT lineup of products. With a full reveal set for May 6, the company is trickling out a few details via its website and social media presence in India. The posts so far seem to indicate that the company will be launching its Infinix GT 20 Pro smartphone along with a GT Book gaming laptop, a gaming mouse, audio accessories, and even branded clothing. There’s no word yet on when these products might go on sale in India. Infinix is also building a “GT Verse” brand and community online to boost its gaming and esports presence.
The GT Verse products teased on Infinix's India website aren't all the same as those announced in other countries.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro gaming smartphone was recently launched in Saudi Arabia. If the company launches it here with the same specifications, we can expect an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC with integrated Arm Mail-G610 graphics, and a discrete “Pixelwork X5 Turbo” chip that handles display upscaling and SDR to HDR conversion. It will also have a 6.78-inch 144Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display, up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, a 108-megapixel main camera along with 2-megapixel depth and macro cameras, JBL-branded stereo speakers, an IP54 rating, a 5000mAh battery, and 45W wired charging.
The GT 20 Pro will ship with Android 14 and two major version updates are promised, along with three years of security patches. At the Saudi Arabian launch, three colour options were announced - Blue, Orange, and Silver. The company calls its design “Cyber Mecha” and it incorporates customisable RGB LED effects.

Interestingly, the Infinix GT Book laptop will target gamers, unlike the more mainstream models it has launched before now. International promotional images show a bold design with a large ring and diagonal accents on its lid, along with RGB LED lighting. The company says this will be a slim gaming laptop and weigh only 1.99kg. While there might be multiple variants, the teaser only specifies a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, and 16-inch 120Hz display. There’s a dual-fan cooling system to handle the 190W peak power draw. The battery has a 70Wh capacity. The laptop appears to have an RGB-backlit keyboard with a full number pad. There’s no word on other specifications including RAM and storage.
Infinix’s website and posts also tease a pair of TWS earphones, over-the-ear headphones, a gaming mouse with RGB LEDs, what appears to be a cooling fan, and a hoodie. At the Saudi Arabia launch, the company announced a smartwatch as part of the GT Verse, though this is missing from the teasers released so far in India.
