Jio Launches JioPhone Prima 4G Feature Phone with JioPay UPI in India

Reliance Jio has launched its latest 4G feature phone, the JioPhone Prima 4G, in India. The new phone will be available for purchase starting Diwali season across leading online and offline retail stores. One of the major highlights of the Prima 4G is its support for UPI payments via JioPay UPI.

The JioPhone Prima 4G is an affordable 4G VoLTE phone that allows users to access the internet and popular apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and more. It sports a 2.4-inch display and is powered by an ARM Cortex A53 processor with 512MB RAM. The phone comes with 4G connectivity support, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The feature phone has been launched at an introductory price of ₹2,599 in India. Reliance aims to target over 500 million 2G users in the country still using outdated feature phones. With the Prima 4G, Reliance Jio aims to bring 4G connectivity and digital services within the reach of 2G users.

The JioPhone Prima 4G will be available in a blue colour variant starting this festive season. It can be purchased from leading online platforms like JioMart, Amazon and Reliance Digital offline stores nationwide.
