Jitendra EV To Launch Its Debut Family e-Scooter Yunik On January 7

Nashik-based Jitendra EV is gearing up to launch its first family electric scooter called Yunik. While details about the upcoming scooter are still under wraps, the brand did mention that it will be a high-speed model – which means that it should be able to reach top speeds of up to 50-75 kmph, at least. 

With just this info in purview, we can make an educated guess that Jitendra’s upcoming Yunik will launch to compete against the likes of the Ampere Nexus, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube. However, from a production point of view, given Jitendra EV’s limited market presence, it will take time to hit the sales numbers that its peers, including legacy manufacturers, have achieved monthly now. 

The manufacturer did tease the scooter earlier and going by those initial images, the Yunik will boast of a retro design. It might not have the elegant body style of a Chetak, per se. But elements like a round LED headlamp, and a distinctive apron design with an illuminated logo of Jitendra EV in the middle, will be some of the standouts. 

Pricing-wise, we expect the upcoming Jitendra Yunik to be an affordable option. So, somewhere around the ₹1 lakh mark. Further details, like bookings and delivery dates, will be revealed at the time of the launch.
