Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX Launched In India At ₹13.49 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 1100 SX in India at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Ninja 1100 SX is only available in a single variant and has received a bunch of updates for 2025. Bookings are open and deliveries for the Ninja 1100 SX will commence by the end of this month. 

The new Ninja 1100 SX gets the same engine as the Versys 1100, which is a 1,099 cc, inline-4, liquid-cooled engine churning out 136 bhp at 9000 rpm and 113 Nm at 7600 rpm. With the new engine, Kawasaki has improved the low-to-mid range torque that will help with real-world rideability. Kawasaki claims that making the ratios of the 5th & 6th gears taller has led to improved fuel efficiency, especially while touring. Kawasaki has also given the Ninja 1100 SX an improved quickshifter as it now operates from as low as 1500 rpm, instead of the previous 2500 rpm, allowing riders to use the quickshifter even at slower city speeds. 

Features-wise, the Ninja 1100 SX gets a new adjustable windshield that can be done by hand without the requirement of any tool. It also has a USB-C charging port mounted on the left side of the handlebar. Additionally, you also get smartphone connectivity with Kawasaki’s Rideology app which allows riders to use certain functions using voice commands. 

Apart from these aforementioned new features and updates, the Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX remains largely the same as the Ninja 1000 SX. The outgoing bike had been quite a popular model for Kawasaki and the new model should help build on the success.
