The K300 SF is an upgraded iteration of the K300N naked street and the low asking price will be valid for the first 100 customers only.
Hungarian motorcycle brand Keeway has reintroduced its K300N naked street bike in India, now christened the K300 SF, with a substantial price drop of ₹60,000. The bike is now priced at ₹1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) but this is an introductory offer that will be valid for the first 100 customers only.
The not-so-new Keeway K300 SF will continue to be available in the country as a CKD (completely knocked down) product. It features subtle updates over the outgoing K300N, which is limited to in the form of revised decals only. Beyond that, the bike’s aggressive design language has remained identical as before: right from its low-slung headlamp, down to its muscular fuel tank, and that sharp tail section. Even the colour options are the same – Matte Red, Black, and White options – as before.
Powering the Keeway K300 SF is the same 292.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is good for 27.1 bhp at 8750 rpm and 25 Nm at 7000 rpm. This mill comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and it gets an assist and slipper clutch as standard. The engine is nestled inside a trellis architecture that rests on a USD fork and a monoshock. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes at both ends, and dual-channel ABS available as standard. On the features front, you do get a fully digital LCD instrument cluster but there is no smartphone connectivity on offer here.
With this price reduction, the Keeway K300 SF presents itself as a strong 300 cc option. The only other bike that comes close to its value proposition is the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, but the Pulsar gets a bigger engine and much more features.
