With the advent of the festive season, Kia India launched a top-spec special edition Kia Carens X-Line in the country at a starting price of Rs. 18.94 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Offered in both petrol and diesel, the Kia Carens X-Line will be available with only automatic transmissions in the 6-seater configuration. As is with the X-Line special edition, the Carens X-Line will come with cosmetic tweaks to its exterior as well as interior to enhance its visual appeal and a few additional creature comforts. The new Carens X-Line joins the Seltos and Sonet X-Line in the company's special edition range.

---|---|
Carens X-Line Petrol 7-Speed DCT | Rs. 18.94 lakh |
Carens X-Line Diesel 6-Speed AT | Rs. 19.45 lakh |
Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales & Business Officer, Kia India, said, "We are seeing a lot of new-age buyers considering distinctive and exclusive products while making purchasing decisions, so we decided to extend this trim to the Kia Carens.”
Based on the Luxury trim of the 6-seater layout, the new Kia Carens X-line receives X-Line styling, with the key highlight being the new Matte Graphite exterior paint scheme, along with a two-tone black and green interior theme. Visually, the new Carens X-Line receives body-coloured front and rear bumpers, a new spoiler, and ORVM, while the grille gets black glossy and chrome highlights. The front brake calipers get a silver treatment to enhance the sporty nature of the blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, a two-tone black and green interior theme is carried to the upholstery, with orange stitching to the steering cover, door armrest, and centre console. Additionally, the Carens X-Line also gets a rear-seat entertainment unit for rear passengers, featuring podcasts, screen mirroring, and a variety of other entertainment and news apps. The unit can also be controlled via a remote-control app installed on the user's phone.
