Kia India recorded its highest-ever monthly wholesales in October 2026, selling 33,462 units, a 13.22 per cent increase over the 29,556 units dispatched in the same month last year. The latest performance also marks the second consecutive month that the automaker has surpassed its previous monthly sales record.
Kia had reported wholesales of 32,017 units in September 2026. October's volumes exceeded that, setting a new monthly high since the company entered the Indian market.
The automaker's cumulative wholesales between January and October 2026 stood at 2,86,470 units, registering a growth of 21.31 per cent over the corresponding period last year. With this, Kia has already exceeded its full-year wholesales of 2,80,286 units recorded in calendar year 2025.
Kia Seltos, Sonet Drive October Wholesales
Festive-season demand, along with contributions from established and newer models, supported Kia India's October performance. The Seltos and Sonet remained the company's key volume drivers, with the Seltos alone accounting for more than 13,000 units during the month.
Since its launch in January 2026, the Seltos has recorded average monthly sales of over 10,000 units, according to the company.
The Carens and Carens Clavis also contributed to the overall volumes. Their CNG variants together accounted for nearly 10 per cent of Kia India's total wholesales in October, indicating the contribution of alternative-fuel models to the company's sales.
Kia India Sees Highest-Ever Monthly EV Sales
Kia India also registered its highest-ever monthly electric vehicle sales in October, with EV volumes increasing 31 per cent month on month. The Syros EV and Carens Clavis EV contributed to the performance.
Meanwhile, the recently introduced Kia Sorento has received an encouraging response from customers, the company said. The premium SUV is available with Hybrid and Diesel powertrain options. Kia highlighted customer interest in its technology, features and the fuel efficiency offered by the hybrid powertrain.
Commenting on the October performance, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, attributed the record wholesales to festive demand and contributions from both established and newer models. He also highlighted the role of CNG and electric vehicles in the company's overall sales performance.
