The diesel manual has the highest claimed figure, while the diesel automatic has the lowest.

Kia India will announce the prices of the Syros on February 1, 2025, and ahead of that, it has announced the fuel efficiency figures of its second subcompact SUV. The Syros comes with two engine options – a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The Syros gets a choice of two engines - a diesel and a turbo-petrol (L-R).

The petrol engine has a fuel efficiency figure of up to 18.20 kmpl (claimed), while the diesel engine has a fuel efficiency of up to 20.75 kmpl (claimed). Both these figures are for 6-speed manual transmissions. Surprisingly, the 1.5-litre diesel with the 6-speed automatic has the least claimed fuel efficiency figure, 17.65 kmpl, which is even lower than the 17.68 kmpl figure of the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
