The 350 cc version of the KTM 390 Adventure is only available in a single variant.
KTM has launched the updated 390 Adventure with a 350 cc engine at a price of ₹2.81 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it ₹62,000 cheaper from the regular KTM 390 Adventure X powered by a 399 cc unit, which continues to be on sale. KTM has confirmed that the original 399 cc existing 390 range of motorcycles will not be discontinued and sold alongside the relatively cheaper 350cc line-up.
The updated range gets a downsized 350 cc engine in order to avail the GST benefits. In the GST 2.0 regime, all two-wheelers powered by an engine up to cubic capacity of 350 cc will fall in the 18 percent slab, whereas engines with a displacement larger than 350 cc will fall under the 40 percent slab. The KTM 390 Adventure X with a 399 cc unit is priced at ₹3.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the updated KTM Adventure 390 Duke is a 350 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 40.43 bhp and 33.5 Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the 399 cc unit makes 44.2 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque. In both cases, transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

The rest of the bike remains the same. The suspension duties are helmed by the same WP Apex USD front fork and monoshock rear absorbers. The ground clearance, wheelbase and saddle height remains the same at 230 mm, 1470 mm, and 830 mm, respectively. The adventure tourer rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels.
In terms of features, the 350 cc KTM Adventure comes with cornering traction control, ABS, and a TFT display with KTMconnect. With its lower pricing, the KTM 390 Adventure equipped with the 350cc engine becomes more attainable. Notably, it is priced just ₹35,000 higher than the KTM 250 Adventure, which strengthens its overall value proposition.
