Automobili Lamborghini has concluded 2024 with record-breaking results, marking its best-ever performance in deliveries, sales, and operating income. The Italian luxury carmaker reported revenues surpassing €3 billion for the first time in its history, reaching €3.09 billion — a 16.2 per cent increase compared to 2023. Operating income rose to €835 million, reflecting a 15.5 per cent growth year-over-year, while the operating margin remained steady at 27 per cent, reinforcing Lamborghini's position among the most profitable luxury brands worldwide. In India, the company sold a total of 113 cars, up by 10 per cent over 2023.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said, “Evolving the entire product range while continuing to grow: this is how we can summarize another record year for Automobili Lamborghini. Despite the difficulties in the automotive market and the highly competitive climate, in 2024 we recorded growth in all three macro regions (Americas, EMEA and APAC), confirming the global strength of the brand.”
Lamborghini achieved a new sales milestone, delivering 10,687 vehicles in 2024 — a 5.7 per cent increase compared to the previous year and marking the second consecutive year of exceeding 10,000 units sold.
The year’s performance crowns an 18-month period of transformation for the company, during which Lamborghini completely renewed its product lineup with the introduction of three new models. The Revuelto, the first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), combined Lamborghini’s iconic V12 engine with hybrid technology. The Urus SE, an evolution of the brand’s Super SUV, introduced advancements in technology, efficiency, and design. Meanwhile, the Temerario, unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2024, brought a reimagined engine and bold character, embodying the marque’s uncompromising performance ethos.
Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, said, “The company continued to grow from both a financial and a business perspective in 2024, confirming similar levels of profitability recorded by the leading global luxury brands.”
Lamborghini's growth has not only boosted its financial standing but also fueled employment, with 1,000 new jobs added over the past two years — a 30 per cent increase in its workforce. This expansion aligns with the company's largest-ever investment plan, aimed at modernising production, enhancing manufacturing systems, and strengthening sustainability across its industrial ecosystem.
