Lenovo's first Windows-based gaming handheld device and a competitor to the Asus ROG Ally goes official.
Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Legion Go, the brand's first Windows-based gaming handheld device and a competitor to the Asus ROG Ally. The handheld is designed to give gamers high-performance specs and a portable gaming experience.
The Lenovo Legion Go features an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with up to 500 nits brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It is powered with up to AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with AMD RDNA Graphics, allowing it to deliver console-quality graphics performance.
With up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage, the handheld runs on Windows 11 and has a touch screen, hall effect joysticks, and detachable controllers. It offers connectivity via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The device features a large 49.2Wh battery with fast charging support.
Lenovo states the Legion Go is designed for flexibility and performance with features like variable resolution and refresh rate options, mappable buttons, and a kickstand for use in FPS mode. The new Legion Space software allows unified access to games, stores, and settings adjustments.
The Lenovo Legion Go aims to deliver a high-end gaming experience in a portable, handheld form factor. The device will be available in select markets from November 2023, starting at €799.
Alongside the Legion Go, Lenovo also introduced new Legion-branded accessories, including the Legion Glasses featuring micro-OLED screens and the Legion E510 gaming headphones with 7.1 surround sound, priced at €499 and €49.99 respectively.
