Offering an 8-year/160,000 km warranty for all new Lexus models sold in India starting from June 1, 2024.
Lexus India has introduced a new warranty initiative, offering an 8-year/160,000 km warranty for all new Lexus models sold in India starting from June 1, 2024. This initiative represents a significant upgrade from the previous 3-year/100,000 km warranty. The extended warranty aims to bolster Lexus’ presence in the competitive Indian luxury car market, providing a unique selling point in a sector where consumers increasingly prioritise long-term value and reliability.
Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President, Lexus India said, “We are thrilled to announce our new warranty initiative which represents our strong commitment to the Indian market. In this new era where consumers are more conscious about the value proposition of their purchases, we are constantly enhancing our services to exceed guests’ expectations.”
Lexus’ new warranty program is part of the brand’s broader strategy to create exceptional customer experiences. This includes not only the extended warranty but also a suite of tailored plans covering finance, service options, insurance, and roadside assistance. These measures are intended to elevate the overall ownership experience, reinforcing Lexus’ reputation for exceptional safety, performance, opulence, and craftsmanship.
Since its introduction to the Indian market in 2017, Lexus has consistently focused on delivering a high standard of customer care, inspired by the Japanese concept of 'Omotenashi' – a philosophy centred on providing thoughtful and personalized service. The new warranty initiative is a continuation of this philosophy, aiming to exceed customer expectations and strengthen loyalty among Lexus owners in India.
