As part of the new visual and sonic overhaul, over 75 meticulously crafted sounds have been designed to enhance various aspects of Mahindra's upcoming portfolio of global electric SUVs.

Mahindra's forthcoming electric SUVs, based on the INGLO platform, will feature a state-of-the-art infotainment system with edge-to-edge displays. This system will include three 12.3-inch screens, boasting a 1920x720 pixels resolution display, to ensure a seamless visual experience.

These sounds will range from interior and exterior drive sounds to experience zone modes, infotainment cues, and functional signals such as seat-belt alerts and turn indicators.

"In collaboration with Mahindra, our aim is to deliver a sonic experience that's both global and uniquely Indian – a sound that resonates with pride and celebrates India's significant transformation," said AR Rahman.

AR Rahman spent invaluable time at Mahindra's testing facility in Kanchipuram, delving into the soundscapes of leading electric vehicles.

In partnership with HARMAN, Mahindra has successfully integrated Dolby Atmos' 360-degree surround sound solution into the driving experience.

The EVs in their upcoming range will feature up to 16 speaker systems with surround sound capabilities, vehicular noise cancellation, and an audio leveliser.
