After having launched the car at a very competitive price, the XUV400 is getting very good traction.
Mahindra’s electric charge into the Indian market is now led by the XUV400 and with the company launching the EV at a very competitive price (Rs. 15.99 lakh), there are takers aplenty. The introductory price was only available on the first 5000 bookings for each of the variant and the company today announced that in just 4 days it has received an overwhelming response. Mahindra has received 10,000 bookings for the car already and according to the company this translates to a waiting period of nearly 7 months.
Mahindra aims to deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 within a year of its launch based on current supply chain visibility. The deliveries of the XUV400 will begin in March 2023 for XUV400 EL and during the upcoming Diwali festive season for XUV400 EV.
The XUV400 gets an all electric range of 375 km on a single charge and at that price point does not find many rivals other than the Tata Nexon EV.
