Mahindra has unveiled a new Adventure Edition for the Scorpio N in South Africa. It is based on the top-spec Z8 trim and is only available with the diesel automatic powertrain with four-wheel drive. Furthermore, the Adventure Edition gets different bumpers, alloy wheels and other off-road-specific cosmetic bits.
The Scorpio N Adventure Edition is priced at ZAR 644,499 (roughly ₹29.57 lakh) and at a premium of ZAR 71,300 (roughly ₹3.27 lakh) over the Z8 4x4 variant which is priced at ZAR 573199 (roughly ₹26.30 lakh). In comparison, the Scorpio N Z8 4x4 diesel automatic variant is priced at ₹23.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Cosmetically, the Adventure Edition gets a steel front and rear bumper which helps improve the approach and departure angles. It also gets a winch, auxiliary lights, recovery hooks and tow hooks in the front bumper. Furthermore, the Adventure Edition also comes with better underbody protection, wider fenders and a roof rack. It gets a new design for the blacked-out alloy wheels shod with chunky all-terrain tyres.
There are no mechanical changes to the Scorpio N Adventure Edition apart from a raised suspension. It continues with a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 172 bhp and 400 Nm mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Adventure Edition also gets Mahindra’s 4Xplor four-wheel drive system and a mechanical locking differential. Currently, there is no information if the Adventure Edition of the Scorpio N will be launching in India.
