Updated SUV seen undergoing trials with design tweaks and expected upgrades to interior and technology.

Mahindra & Mahindra appears to be preparing a mid-cycle update for the Mahindra Scorpio N, with the facelifted model spotted testing again on Indian roads. The SUV, which was introduced in 2022, has been seen undergoing trials in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, indicating that a launch could be approaching.

Test vehicles remain heavily camouflaged, but recent images and videos offer indications of the changes under development. The front-end design is expected to receive noticeable revisions, including a reworked grille with horizontal slats, drawing cues from the Vision.S concept showcased in 2025. The front bumper also appears to have been updated, with potential changes to the headlamps, air intake section and other detailing aimed at refreshing the overall appearance.

Along the sides, the facelifted model is likely to feature newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, subtle updates to the bumper and tail lamps are expected to differentiate it from the current version.

Interior changes are anticipated to be more extensive. Earlier test sightings have indicated a redesigned dashboard layout, with horizontal air-conditioning vents replacing the existing vertical design. A larger floating touchscreen infotainment system is also expected, potentially measuring around 10.25 inches and replacing the current integrated unit. This display may be shared with newer models such as the Thar Roxx.

The update could also include a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, replacing the current semi-digital setup. Additional feature upgrades are likely, with industry reports pointing to the introduction of a panoramic sunroof in place of the existing single-pane unit.

Test mules have also been seen equipped with camera systems and radar modules, suggesting that Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems could be offered across a wider range of variants. This would enhance the SUV’s safety and technology offering as part of the update.
