Mahindra XUV 3XO Bookings Open From May 15

Mahindra has launched the new XUV 3XO with a new moniker at a starting price of ₹ 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) available in three engine options, a new design, a fresh interior, an updated features list and a new gearbox. The bookings for the new Mahindra XUV 3XO start from May 15, while the deliveries are set to commence from May 26, 2024. The new Mahindra XUV 3XO will be rolled out of the company’s Nashik plant and will be available in both petrol and diesel powertrains.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Exterior

The revamped Mahindra XUV 3XO presents a rejuvenated approach, drawing inspiration from its larger counterpart, the XUV700. Its frontal aesthetics are redefined by sleek hexagonal LED headlamps, complemented by elongated C-shaped LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. Sporting a refined grille and bumper design with a glossy piano black finish, the XUV 3XO exudes a premium and sophisticated aura, departing from conventional norms. The rear is transformed as well, featuring the contemporary infinity LED tail lamps, aligning it with industry competitors. While the side profile remains largely unchanged, the introduction of new 17-inch alloys adds a subtle yet impactful touch to the overall appeal.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Tech & Interior

While retaining familiarity, Mahindra has enhanced the interior of the new XUV 3XO, elevating the overall experience for occupants. The addition of dual 10-inch HD screens on the dashboard, serving as infotainment and instrumentation clusters, accompanied by sleek piano-black inserts, enhances the modern appeal. Introducing an ivory colour option and wrapping the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels in soft-touch leatherette adds a touch of luxury. Standard leatherette upholstery for the seats further enhances the premium feel.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Features

Setting a benchmark in the sub-compact SUV segment, the XUV 3XO offers three smart steering modes - Comfort, Normal, and Sport, alongside drive modes like Zip, Zap, and Zoom (exclusive to turbo Petrol Automatic variants). The inclusion of Mahindra's MTV-CL technology, known for its ride quality enhancement, further enhances comfort. Modern features are integrated, including Level 2 ADAS with 360-degree monitoring and Blind View Monitor, complemented by six standard airbags, four-disc brakes, 3-point seat belts, and seat belt reminders for all seats.

Enhanced electronic stability control, hill-hold, and hill-descent control optimize safety. Convenience is prioritised with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 65 W USB C-type charging point, Harmon Kardon Premium Audio system, four ambient sound modes, and the addition of a panoramic sunroof, known as Skyroof.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine & Transmission

Building upon its renowned lineup of turbocharged engines, the Mahindra XUV 3XO maintains consistency with its existing 1.2-litre TGDi and 1.2-litre TCMPFi petrol engines, alongside the 1.5-litre CRDe engine. Notably, petrol variants now feature a new 6-speed automatic transmission from Aisin, enhancing driving dynamics. Diesel variants, on the other hand, are equipped with a new 6-speed AutoSHIFT+ automatic transmission (AMT), offering improved efficiency and performance.

The comprehensive updates to the Mahindra XUV 3XO have led to a restructured variant lineup. Expanding from five to nine trim levels, the subcompact SUV offers a diverse range of options: MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L.
