Prices for the XUV 3XO are expected to start around ₹9 - 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Mahindra is all set to reveal the XUV 3XO today, which is essentially a facelift of the XUV300 subcompact SUV. Mahindra has already shared a bunch of teasers for the XUV 3XO, hinting at the exterior and interior design and the features of the upcoming SUV.
Currently, the XUV300 is priced ₹7.99 - 13.16 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Since this is a significant facelift, the XUV 3XO could come with a hefty price increase. Expect it to start around ₹9 - 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the XUV 3XO will make its debut today, the price announcement could either be today or in the coming weeks.
The XUV 3XO will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Skoda’s upcoming subcompact SUV.
Mahindra has heavily revised the fascia of the XUV 3XO and it will get a completely new design for the headlamps, bumpers and grille. It will also get C-shaped LED DRLs as well as new designs for the alloy wheels. At the back, the tailgate has also been heavily revised with a new taillamp design.
Inside, the XUV 3XO will get a new design for the dashboard with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen sitting front and centre. Mahindra has also revealed the XUV 3XO will be getting a panoramic sunroof, remotely-controlled dual-zone climate control and Harmon Kardon-tuned 7-speaker sound system.
Under the hood, the XUV 3XO is likely to continue with the same powertrain options as before. Expect it to get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with two states of tune as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Gearbox options are likely to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT but a 6-speed automatic is also expected to join the line-up.
