The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is available between Rs. 12.74 lakh and Rs. 15.05 lakh in India.
Maruti Suzuki India has launched the all-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny in the country at a starting price of Rs. 12.74 lakh which goes up to Rs. 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec trim in a dual-tone exterior paint scheme. The new Jimny rivals the Mahindra Thar, which retails between Rs. 10.54 lakh and Rs. 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Jimny is available with a single petrol engine option coupled to either a manual or an automatic gearbox, offered in six trims, including dual-tone options.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is made available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine making 103 bhp and 134 Nm of torque, coupled to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter. As far as fuel efficiency goes, the Jimny returns 16.94 kmpl for the manual version and 16.34 kmpl for the automatic version. The Jimny SUV will be offered in Zeta and Alpha variants, with Zeta being the base variant.
