Maserati has introduced the GranTurismo in two variants- Modena and Trofeo.
Maserati has introduced its latest GranTurismo model to the Indian market, marking the arrival of both internal combustion engine (ICE) variants and the anticipation of an all-electric version set to launch in 2025. The GranTurismo is available in two ICE variants: the Modena, priced at ₹2.72 crore, and the higher-performance Trofeo, priced at ₹2.90 crore (ex-showroom, India). The electric variant, named the Folgore, will join the lineup next year.

The new Maserati GranTurismo is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, positioned behind the front axle to enhance the vehicle's balance and handling. In the Modena variant, this engine produces 489 bhp and 600 Nm of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 302 kmph. The Trofeo variant, designed for higher performance, boosts these figures to 550 bhp and 650 Nm, with a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 320 kmph.
The second-generation GranTurismo maintains its predecessor's low-slung, sleek aesthetic, blending modern styling cues with classic Maserati design elements. The front fascia features large vents on the bumper, a prominent splitter, and the iconic Maserati Trident emblem within the grille. The car also sports slender vertical headlights and slim, triangular taillights that accentuate its aerodynamic profile. The electric Folgore variant will share much of the design language with its ICE counterparts, except unique bumpers and fender badging that distinguish it as an electric vehicle.
Maserati has significantly modernised the GranTurismo's cabin, replacing most traditional physical controls with advanced touchscreens. The dashboard now houses a 12.3-inch infotainment display alongside an 8.8-inch screen dedicated to climate control functions. The multifunction steering wheel retains some physical buttons, offering a blend of tactile and digital controls, while a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster provides critical driving information. A standout feature is the iconic analogue clock on the dashboard, which has been updated to a customisable digital display, reflecting Maserati's blend of tradition and innovation.
The Maserati GranTurismo enters a competitive segment, facing off against luxury sports cars such as the recently launched Aston Martin Vantage, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari Roma, and Porsche 911.
