To be called an ‘Experience Hub’, this new showroom will also commence the deliveries of the Matter Aera 5000.
Matter Group has announced that it will launch its first showroom in Ahmedabad, and the inaugural outlet will commence operation from October 11, 2024, onwards. To be called an Experience Hub, it will feature various zones including a “Master AERA Display” showcasing India's first geared electric motorcycle, a “Tech Display” for exploring advanced features, and separate areas/ zones for test rides as well.
The Ahmedabad hub will also serve as the starting point for deliveries of Matter’s Aera electric motorcycle. Moreover, the company plans to open over 100 such Experience Hubs through dealer partnerships across 40 cities in India within the next eight months. However, it should be noted that deliveries for the Matter Aera 5000 haven’t yet started owing to delays.

Speaking on the occasion of this launch, Mohal Lalbhai, Founder and Group CEO Matter said, “Our first Experience Hub in Ahmedabad marks the beginning of a significant chapter for Matter. We are excited to create an experiential hub where customers can truly experience the future of motorbiking. With this launch, Matter is set to leapfrog a transformative shift and mark a new milestone in the history of e-mobility, as we continue to lead India towards a cleaner and sustainable future.”
As for the Matter Aera 5000, it holds the distinction of being the first electric two-wheeler of its kind to be available with a 4-speed gearbox. Additionally, it is also one of those very few electric two-wheeler manufacturers in the world to adopt liquid-cooled technology for its battery. One of the prime reasons behind doing so was to maintain familiarity with the ICE-powered motorcycles. However, has Matter managed to replicate the same? Find it out in our review video below:
