Mercedes-Benz has started a recall of its electric G-Class in India, affecting 99 units of the model over a potential safety issue linked to the wheel bolts. The fault relates to wheel bolts that may not conform to the brand's specifications. Over the course of the vehicle's lifetime, the bolting of the wheel bolts, and therefore the wheel connection itself, may work loose during driving. This could compromise driving stability and potentially raise the risk of a collision, reported Carwale.
The affected car models were manufactured between 12 July 2024 and 18 August 2025.
