Mercedes-Benz has teased three new SUVs on Instagram, widely speculated to be the facelifted GLE, GLE Coupé and GLS for 2027. New grilles, star-shaped lights and advanced tech are expected in the upcoming models.

Mercedes-Benz has sparked fresh excitement in the luxury SUV segment by posting intriguing teasers of three new models on its official Instagram page. While the German automaker has not revealed any official details yet, there are speculations that these images hint at the upcoming facelifted versions of the popular GLE, GLE Coupé and the flagship GLS SUVs for the 2027 model year.

The teasers have generated buzz online, with many pointing to the midsize GLE and its sleek Coupé sibling along with the full-size GLS as the likely candidates. Recent spy shots and prototype testing at the Nürburgring and in the Nevada desert support these claims. The refreshed models are expected to adopt a bolder design language inspired by the latest E-Class and S-Class, featuring a new upright grille with a distinctive mesh pattern, star-shaped daytime running lights and matching three-pointed-star tail lamps.

Interior updates are also anticipated to be significant. Prototypes suggest a new Superscreen with three displays under a single glass pane, the latest fourth-generation MBUX infotainment system with generative AI features, updated circular air vents and a redesigned steering wheel with physical controls. Comfort enhancements include improved seat upholstery with 3D graphics and advanced massage functions, while powertrains are set to receive tweaks, including an updated inline-six mild-hybrid for the GLE and a more powerful V8 for the GLS.

Mercedes previously gave these SUVs a light facelift in 2023 for the 2024 model year. The new round of updates is expected to go on sale around the world midway through 2026 or early 2027. With official unveiling soon, we await more details on styling, technology and performance upgrades.
