MG Motor India hits 100,000 EV sales. In fact, almost 70% of the company's monthly sales are from EVs.

JSW MG Motor India has crossed the 100,000 electric vehicle sales mark, becoming the second four-wheeler EV manufacturer in the country to achieve this milestone after Tata Motors. The company has increased its EV market share from 26% in calendar year 2024 to 35% currently.

The achievement comes through steady contributions from its portfolio, which addresses daily commuting as well as premium driving requirements. MG EVs now account for over 70% of the company’s month-on-month sales, indicating strong segment acceptance.

Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, claims that the figure demonstrates customer confidence in sustainable options. He expressed gratitude to buyers and the team, adding that the firm will continue supporting India’s clean mobility goals with innovative products and powertrain choices.

The brand has introduced several ecosystem initiatives to ease EV ownership. These include the EV Sahi Hai awareness drive sharing user stories, the eHub by MG charging app, Battery-as-a-Service model, MG Charge plan to set up 1,000 stations in 1,000 days, and Project Revive for battery recycling and second-life applications.

The brand's current electric vehicle portfolio comprises the ZS EV, Comet, Windsor, and the Cyberster, which serves as a niche sports car offering.
