The 3503 misses out on some features to arrive with a competitive price tag.
In December, 2024, Bajaj Auto had launched the new Chetak 35 series of the electric scooter. The Bajaj Chetak 35 series featured a larger battery pack and price for the range started from ₹1.20 lakh onwards. Now the company has introduced an even more affordable variant of the same called the Chetak 3503 and the new electric scooter is priced at ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Chetak 3503 uses the same 3.5 kWh battery pack delivering a claimed range of 151 km (2 km less) and the top speed is capped at 63 kmph as opposed to the higher 73 kmph of the other variants. Even the charging time (0-80 per cent) of the Chetak 3503 is longer at 3 hrs and 25 mins, whereas the Bajaj Chetak 3501 does the same in 3 hrs.
For a more affordable price tag, Bajaj has replaced the TFT colour instrument console with a basic LCD unit as seen on the older Chetak electric scooters, and it misses out on sequential indicators. However, it still gets two ride modes and hill-hold assist. The other big change is in the braking department as the front disc brake has been replaced with the more affordable drum brake unit. Apart from the above mentioned differences, the Bajaj Chetak 3501 continues to employ the same metal body and suspension hardware as seen on the other 35 series scooters.
The Bajaj Chetak 3502 is priced at ₹1.20 lakh, while the 3501 variant will set you back by ₹1.27 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom). Bajaj is offering the new Chetak 35 series with 3 years of warranty or 50,000 km.
