The limited-run AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition gets visual enhancements over the standard A45 S that was on sale previously.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition 4MATIC+ in India at a price of ₹87 lakh (ex-showroom). Claimed to be the most powerful hatchback in production across the world, the AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition comes to India as a fully-imported CBU model. It also marks the return of the A45 badge to India nearly after three years.
This limited edition AMG A45 benefits from an AMG Aerodynamics Package that comprises functional add-ons designed to improve the car’s high-speed stability and handling precision. Shaped with inputs from wind tunnel testing, the Aerodynamics Package brings a sharper, more functional design. It adds a deeper front splitter with extra aero inserts, a fixed rear wing, and a revised rear diffuser.
Working together, these elements channel airflow more effectively, boosting downforce while keeping lift in check at higher speeds. The changes aren’t just functional. The package also gives the hatchback a more assertive look. Gloss-black accents dominate the exterior, adding a crisp, motorsport-inspired edge to its overall stance.

Complementing the sporty aesthetics is the AMG Night Package that adds blacked-out elements to the exterior design. Key highlights include a gloss-black finish for the front splitter, side skirts, ORVM housings, beltline, and window surrounds, along with black chrome exhaust tips. Depending on the chosen body colour, these elements can either stand out in sharp contrast or merge subtly for a more understated, stealthy appearance.

Besides the visual enhancements, the AMG Night Package also adds 19-inch AMG forged alloy wheels finished in matte black, paired with red-painted brake calipers that add a striking contrast.
However, the biggest highlight has to be what lies under its hood. Powering the AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition is the familiar 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that also did duty in the standard model. It pushes out the same peak output of 416 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via the brand’s trusted 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system.

With Launch Control activated, the hot hatch can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in a claimed 3.9 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 270 kmph.
