Bajaj’s upcoming adventure motorcycle is expected to use the new 350 cc engine platform.
A new adventure motorcycle, likely from Bajaj, has been spotted testing on Indian roads, indicating that the company is preparing to launch an ADV under its own brand name. While Bajaj has been manufacturing adventure motorcycles for KTM for several years, this upcoming model marks its direct entry into the growing adventure touring segment under the Bajaj badge.
The test mule was photographed alongside a fleet of Pulsar motorcycles and a KTM Adventure. It features a distinctive design tailored for off-road travel, including a raised front fender, a straight handlebar for an upright riding posture, and a long single-piece seat.
The overall silhouette resembles the KTM 390 Enduro R, though the test vehicle sports a noticeably larger fuel tank to enhance its touring range. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with long-travel suspension, an upswept exhaust, and a spoke wheel combination.
The engine casing on the test mule differs from current Bajaj models and closely resembles the latest architecture from KTM. This has led to speculation that the motorcycle could be powered by a new 350 cc liquid-cooled engine.
Utilising a 350 cc platform would allow the manufacturer to deliver strong highway performance while simultaneously benefiting from India's revised GST 2.0 taxation structure, which offers advantages to motorcycles positioned below the 350 cc threshold.
The production-ready appearance of the prototype suggests an official market introduction could take place by late 2026 or early 2027. The upcoming model is expected to be positioned as an affordable alternative to rivals like theTVS Apache RTX 300 and KTM 250 Adventure.
