Hyundai will continue to sell the older Venue in selected trims, the company has also launched the N-Line version of the new Venue.
Hyundai found reasonable success with the Venue when it was launched in 2019. It later received a mid-cycle update in 2022. The Korean automotive giant has now launched the second generation of the Venue at an introductory starting price of ₹7.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration of the Venue has been in development from some time now with plenty of test mules spotted in the past 6-7 months. Bookings for the same commenced a couple of weeks ago across all Hyundai dealerships. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Hyundai Venue.

The design of the new Hyundai Venue is a big step-up in comparison to the older model. It is squared and boxy — definitely looks more SUV-ish than its predecessor. The front fascia is completely new, with a large radiator grille flanked by sleek quad-beam LED headlamps and twin-horn LED DRLs, drawing inspiration from the new Creta and Alcazar.

The side profile stands out with its muscular wheel arches, sharply sculpted character lines, bridge-style roof rails, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the signature C-pillar garnish makes a return, now paired with sleek horizon LED positioning lamps connected across the tailgate and an integrated ‘Venue’ emblem within the glass.
The Venue has also grown in size, measuring 30mm wider and offering a 20mm longer wheelbase than before. Dimensions of the new Venue measure 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,665mm in height, with a wheelbase stretched to 2,520mm.
Interiors of the second-gen Venue wear a completely different look with a new layout finished in a dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey theme with leatherette upholstery. It also gets a brand three-spoke steering wheel with Hyundai’s new four-dot symbol at the centre, representing the letter ‘H’ in Morse Code. The biggest highlights, however, is the expansive curved panoramic display, comprising a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The news Venue is brimming with features such as wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, an electric sunroof (single-pane), and automatic climate control with rear AC vent, 4-way power adjustment and ventilation for front seats, sunshades for rear windows, etc.
In terms of safety, Hyundai is offering features like six airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and front and rear parking sensors. The most notable additions in this department include a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) offering features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
Under the hood, the new Hyundai Venue will come with the same engine options that include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (82 bhp and 114 Nm), a 1-litre turbo-petrol (118 bhp and 172 Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel (115 bhp and 250 Nm). A 5-speed manual gearbox will be the sole option for the 1.2-litre NA petrol mill whereas a 6-speed manual transmission will be offered for both the turbo petrol and diesel units. The turbo petrol mill will also get the 7-speed DCT automatic as well, whereas the diesel engine will get a new 6-speed torque converter as an option.

Besides the regular Venue, Hyundai has also launched the sportier Venue N Line in India with prices starting from ₹ lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available in two trims: N6 and N10. The N Line version of the sub-4 metre SUV gets spruced up exterior and interior as compared to the standard Venue. The exterior distinguishes itself with horizontal grille slats up front, N Line badging, twin exhaust tips, a wing type spoiler, red inserts, slightly tweaked front and rear bumpers, and larger 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Venue N-Line wears an all-black theme with contrast red highlights in the seats, dashboard and door trims. It gets a new sportier steering wheel, similar to the one seen in the updated Ioniq 5 N. Other notable changes include N Line-specific gear knobs, red ambient lighting, metal pedals, and black leatherette seats with N Line embossing.
