The benefits are claimed to be worth ₹27,000 and will be valid for up to five years.
Hero has introduced a new Vida Advantage Pack for customers of its electric scooters. A category-first proposition, claims Hero, this newly introduced benefit program aims to make EV ownership hassle-free. And the best bit is that it will be available for purchase at no cost till April 31, 2024, for all existing and new Vida V1 buyers.
As part of the Vida Advantage pack, Hero is offering benefits worth up to ₹27,000. This would include an ‘Extended Battery Warranty’ of up to 5 years/ 60,000 km, along with free access to over 2,000 Vida fast charging networks across India. Additionally, 24x7 roadside assistance and free maintenance and service will also be provided for the next five years (which is also the validity of the program).
But most importantly, the Vida Advantage package will also unlock the full range of connectivity and safety features of the V1 Pro electric scooters. Features like cruise control, boost mode, keyless access, and two-way throttle can be availed at free of cost. They will be accessible through the My Vida app, and will further help customers with real-time insights of their vehicle.
Both the Vida V1 Pro and V1 Plus are powered by the same 6 kWh electric motor, but in the former it is paired to a bigger 3.94 kWh battery, and the latter gets a slightly smaller 3.44 kWh battery pack. As a result of which, the V1 Pro ends up with an IDC range of 165 km, and the Vida V1 Plus can do 143 km of range (IDC-claimed). As an overall proposition, the Hero Vida V1 electric scooters slots as quite the Value For Money (VFM) product. So much so, it even won the the 2023 Bike Of The Year 2024 TOTM.
