Kinetic has been testing a new electric scooter. The recent sightings during a test run near Pune suggest the same. This sighting, along with the endurance nature of the test, suggests the scooter is nearing production.
The design of the new e-scooter leans towards a compact form factor. This suggests suitability for urban commutes and shorter distances. Also, it doesn’t seem like it is geared towards a B2B application like some other scooters made by Kinetic thus far.
We hope that Kinetic is able to offer a real-world range figure of over 100km, exceeding any of its current offerings.. Hopefully, the suspension tune as well as the braking department is also geared towards a more family-centric, comfy and reliable approach. Features such as a digital display, LED lighting, and potentially various riding modes are also anticipated to be included.
Kinetic Green is likely targeting a launch date within the next few months, capitalising on the growing electric scooter market within India. Following the recent introduction of the E-Luna model, this new scooter signifies Kinetic Green's continued commitment to diversification within the electric scooter segment. Pricing is expected to be comparable to the Flex, which currently retails for approximately ₹ 1,09,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra including FAME 2 subsidy). Further information regarding the upcoming model is expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.
