The teaser's caption hints at a long-awaited important update for this motorcycle
Yezdi has teased an update to its existing Adventure motorcycle. The Yezdi ADV motorcycle is due for an engine update, and the teaser has clear signs that the update is coming soon. We have taken a closer look at the teaser and found small hints towards what to expect.
The first thing that is noticed is the smaller tank rail. The current model of the Yezdi Adventure has tank rails that extend up to and over the tank, which were intended for carrying luggage and jerry cans. In contrast, the teaser shows smaller rails that do not extend over the tank, instead ending near the indicator. These rails feature a plastic insert with a sticker that reads "Estd 69".
Another change expected is on the Yezdi Adventure engine front. The bike currently comes with a 334cc engine and we expect the displacement to remain the same with changes to its internals. This mill makes 22 bhp and 28.2 Nm on the Jawa 350 and that could be carried over here. On paper, it's less than the current iteration that makes 29.88 bhp and 29.8 Nm but the engine feels much better to ride. Other changes are expected in terms of the final drive. The new Yezdi Adventure could benefit from increased torque, with a potential compromise on top-end performance. The underpinnings might not see any significant hardware changes, but the suspension could be re-tuned for improved off-road capability. The front indicators also appear to have been changed.

None of these other changes can be confirmed, but the company appears to be moving in a direction where it is treating each product as a standalone entity, rather than simply benchmarking against segment standards. We are looking forward to this update and will be riding the updated Yezdi Adventure soon to provide a detailed account of the changes. Currently, the bike is available with either a gloss colour option or one of two matte colour options. Prices start at ₹2,15,900 and go up to ₹2,19,942 (ex-showroom). We do expect some new colours and a price update on the motorcycle.
The updated Yezdi Adventure will rival the top line of ADV segment in India. It will go head-to-head with established competitors like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 (priced at ₹2.85 lakh - ₹2.98 lakh). Additionally, it will also compete with the KTM 250 Adventure (starting at ₹2,48,424) based off its power figures but based on its displacement, its main rival should technically be the KTM 390 Adventure (starting at ₹3,41,032).
Yezdi Adventure had last gotten a mountain pack update in May 2024. The new "Mountain Pack" accessory is available for an additional ₹17,500. It includes crucial parts like jerry cans, headlamp grille, crash guard, and knuckle guards, making it ready for off-road terrain. Recently the company has also announced a trail pack for another of its products - The Yezdi roadster. Here are the details about it - Yezdi Roadster Gains New Standard Trail Pack Worth ₹16,000.
