The third-generation Audi Q3 made its global debut in mid-2025, rolling out an entirely redesigned exterior, a tech-heavy cabin, and an option of a PHEV powertrain.
Audi India has released a teaser for the next-generation Q3 SUV, thereby confirming that its launch is not very far off. The upcoming model will spearhead the German carmaker's new product offensive in the Indian market.
Visually, the new Q3 exhibits a far more aggressive stance than its predecessor. Based on global specifications, the front fascia discards the conventional headlamp layout in favour of a modern split-lighting setup, flanked by a larger hexagonal front grille carrying the Audi emblem. The side profile features protective wheel arch cladding, revised door moulding, and a subtle character line along the rear fender.
While global variants offer wheel sizes ranging between 17 and 20 inches, the India-spec model is anticipated to ride on 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the vehicle incorporates a split taillamp architecture comprising a full-width connected LED light bar, main light units, and an illuminated brand logo.

The cabin undergoes a complete transformation, adopting a heavily digitised and driver-centric layout. The redesigned layered dashboard is angled slightly towards the driver and houses a massive dual-screen setup, which includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display. A newly styled three-spoke steering wheel features a unique column-mounted stalk configuration for wiper and lighting controls.

Under the bonnet, the India-bound Audi Q3 is expected to retain the existing 2.0-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine. This powertrain produces 201 bhp and 320 Nm. It is worth noting that the global-spec version also offers a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, so it’ll be interesting to see if Audi brings the PHEV to India as well.
Expected to carry an ex-showroom price tag of approximately ₹55 lakh, the new-generation Q3 will continue its rivalry against segment competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1.
