Triumph has previewed the next-generation Street Triple 798 ahead of its November 17 unveil, featuring a Moto2-derived 798 cc engine, an overhauled chassis, and a single-pod LED headlight setup.
Triumph Motorcycles has officially previewed the next-generation Street Triple 798 globally, ahead of its full public debut scheduled for November 17, 2026. While full technical specifications remain under wraps, the British manufacturer has shared an initial overview highlighting major updates across the powerplant, chassis, and exterior styling.
The biggest highlight of the update is an enlarged 798 cc, inline three-cylinder engine derived from Triumph's Moto2 race program. The newly developed motor promises higher power and torque outputs, achieved via a redesigned cylinder head and a low-inertia valve train that enables a higher compression ratio. Triumph also claims the new 798 cc engine is lighter than the outgoing unit while delivering stronger torque across the entire rev range.

Triumph has overhauled the chassis setup to enhance agility. The motorcycle features an all-new main frame, a noticeably chunkier swingarm, and a repositioned rear monoshock with revised mounting geometry. Visually, the most striking change is the departure from the iconic twin bug-eyed headlights in favor of a single-pod LED projector unit framed by perimeter DRLs. A newly designed underslung exhaust system also makes its debut.
Despite the comprehensive updates to the frame and bodywork, select high-performance components have been carried over from the predecessor. These include the Showa front forks, Brembo braking hardware, and alloy wheels. Complete performance figures and pricing details will be announced during the official unveil on November 17.
