Nissan is gearing up to launch the Gravite in India on 17 February 2026. Based on the Renault Triber, the Gravite shares plenty of commonalities with the former. The Japanese carmaker has teased the upcoming subcompact MPV through pre-launch on its social media handles. The latest promotional campaign by Nissan reveals a lot about the Gravite, especially its interiors.

Nissan Gravite: Expected Interiors & Features

From a small glimpse in the video, it can be safely assumed that Nissan Gravite is most likely to borrow its interiors from the Triber barring the Renault badging on the steering wheel. Upon a close glance, it can be seen that the Gravite gets the same centre console and gear lever along with the wireless phone charging tray as its French cousin.

Like the Triber, the Gravite gets a seven-seat layout with some luggage space with all three rows up. It gets the same dashboard layout with a central free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. In terms of features, expect the Nissan Gravite to come equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, driver armrest, powered ORVMs, and parking sensors.

In terms of safety, the Nissan Triber will benefit from features like ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, and speed alert systems. Additional safety features include ESP, brake assist, traction control, impact-sensing auto door unlock, and speed-sensing auto door locks. The outgoing Triber earned a four-star Global NCAP safety rating, while the facelifted version is yet to undergo crash testing.

Nissan Gravite: Expected Exterior

Even though heavily under wraps in the video, the exterior of the Nissan Gravite feels very familiar to the Renault Triber, clearly showing it is a rebadged model after all. Based on the same CMF-A platform as the Triber, Nissan Gravite is expedited to flaunt a redesigned grille with the Nissan badge at the centre along with the addition of a few chrome elements. At the rear, the Gravite is expected to come with a revised taillamp setup. That said, the overall profile and silhouette of the Gravite is identical to that of the Triber.

Nissan Gravite: Expected Powertrain

Under the hood, the Nissan Gravite will come with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that kicks out 72 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. This motor can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Like the Triber, Nissan might offer the Gravite with a aftermarket CNG kit at the dealership level.
