Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. introduced the Nissan Hyper Punk, marking the fourth addition to its series of concept vehicles. The official unveiling of this electric compact crossover is scheduled for the Tokyo Motor Show on October 25. Leading up to the event, a digital-3D billboard in Tokyo's Shinjuku district, known as Cross Shinjuku Vision, will showcase all four electric vehicle concepts, including the Nissan Hyper Urban, Nissan Hyper Adventure, Nissan Hyper Tourer, and Nissan Hyper Punk, until the opening day of the show.

Moreover, starting on October 25, these concept vehicles will also be accessible within the popular online game Fortnite, under the moniker "Electrify the World," allowing players to explore and enjoy these unique creations in a virtual environment.

The Nissan Hyper Punk is designed with a focus on blending style and functionality, catering to content creators, influencers, artists, and those who value innovation. It enables seamless connectivity between the digital and physical realms, both inside and outside the vehicle. The car's V2X system ensures users can charge their devices and share the vehicle's energy with collaborators and local community events.
The interior of the Nissan Hyper Punk combines elements inspired by Japanese origami, creating a space where digital and artistic elements merge. For example, the car's onboard cameras can capture the surrounding scenery and use AI to transform it into manga-style artwork or graphic patterns based on the owner's preferences. This imagery can be projected onto a three-screen display around the driver, creating an environment where reality and the metaverse converge.

Functioning as a mobile creative studio, the cabin offers internet connectivity and can connect to occupants' devices and equipment, allowing users to access information and create on the go. Through the use of AI and headrest biosensors, the concept vehicle can detect the driver's mood and select appropriate music and lighting to enhance the driver's energy and creativity.
The exterior design of the Nissan Hyper Punk features multifaceted and polygonal surfaces, with a striking silver paint that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle and light source. This design, characterised by its superior aerodynamic performance and bold, powerful style, reflects the driver's desire for self-expression and a departure from conventional design norms, embodying Nissan's forward-thinking approach to incorporating new technologies and designs.

The vehicle's design is both highly stable and versatile, making it suitable for city and off-road driving with compact overhangs and large 23-inch wheels. The polygonal shapes are integrated into the design of the headlights, tail lamps, and rear signature, adding to the vehicle's unique and eye-catching appearance.
