London-headquartered Nothing on Thursday confirmed a launch event scheduled for March 4, during which the company is likely to introduce new smartphone models. The handset maker confirmed to Acko Byte that the Nothing Phone (3a) Series will be launched on 4 March at 3:30 PM IST.
Prospective buyers interested in being notified about the upcoming launch can sign up on e-commerce site Flipkart.
“For the (a) Series we have a different set of users. When people buy a smartphone, some are looking for the greatest specs, they want the latest innovations and processors. Yet there are some other users that are equally excited about tech but are happy with just a great user experience - that’s who the (a) Series is for. We’re really focused on the core user needs in terms of camera, screen, processor, and of course design," Nothing’s Co-founder Akis Evangelidis, said in a statement.
Also, as per tipster Yogesh Brar, e-commerce site Flipkart has confirmed the launch of Nothing Phone (3a).
"Flipkart just confirmed the launch of the Nothing Phone 3a series on March 4th. Triple cameras are visible with an updated Glyph," Brar posted on X, formerly Twitter.
Meanwhile, according to recent report in Android Headlines, Nothing plans to release two new devices: the Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro.
The company has opted to use the "Pro" designation rather than the previously rumoured "Plus" nomenclature.
