Odysse has also moved into the premium motorcycle segment with the Evoqis and Vader, targeting buyers with higher performance and longer range requirements.
Odysse Electric Vehicles sold 965 units in April 2026, seeing a year-on-year increase of about 333 per cent from the 223 units recorded in the same month last year. The company's retail network has grown to cover more than 150 cities and over 300 PIN codes across 17 states, in a bid to broaden its geographic reach.
Odysse's current line-up spans both low- and high-speed electric scooters, including the Hy-Fy, Racer Neo, Sun and Trot 2.0, catering to daily commuting, last-mile delivery and fleet use cases.
The company has also moved into the premium motorcycle segment with the Evoqis and Vader, targeting buyers with higher performance and longer range requirements. Its portfolio spans multiple price points and battery configurations, addressing personal and commercial mobility needs across urban and semi-urban markets.
“The strong growth momentum witnessed in March has continued into April, reflected in our robust year-on-year performance. This growth underscores the increasing consumer confidence in electric mobility and our consistent efforts to expand our presence across key markets.
"With rising environmental awareness and favourable market dynamics, we are well-positioned to capitalise on the accelerating adoption of EVs in India. Going forward, we remain focused on strengthening our distribution network, enhancing product innovation, and delivering a superior customer experience," Nemin Vora, Chief Executive Officer, Odysse Electric, said in a statement.
The company said it intends to press ahead with network expansion and new product development as it continues to scale its presence in the electric two-wheeler market.
On the technology front, Odysse has partnered with Indofast Energy, in a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation and SUN Mobility, to introduce battery-swapping capability, beginning with its SNAP electric scooter.
The tie-up is designed to support a battery-as-a-service model, which lowers the upfront cost of ownership while addressing the twin concerns of charging time and range anxiety.
