Ola S1X Launched in India, Prices Start At Rs. 79,999

Ola Electric has launched its most affordable product in the country. The Ola S1X has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 89,999 (ex-showroom). However, those who book the S1X within this week (August 21, 2023) will get it for an introductory price of Rs. 79,999 (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the S1X comes in three different variants - Ola S1X+, Ola S1X (3 kW) and Ola S1X (2 kW).

The Ola S1X (3 kW) has been priced at Rs. 99,999 but like the 2 kW version, it also gets an introductory price of Rs. 89,999 for the same duration of time. Similarly, the top-end S1X dubbed the S1X+ is priced at Rs. 1.10 lakh, but the introductory price stands at Rs. 99,999 (all prices are ex-showroom). The homegrown company also announced that deliveries for the S1X will commence in December 2023. Unlike the S1 Pro and S1 Air, the Ola S1X comes with dual-tone colour options.

Apart from this, the S1X comes with a different display than the S1 Air and S1 Pro, which appears to be an LCD screen similar to the recently launched Ather 450S. This has been done to keep costs in check and even the headlamp cowl and rear view mirrors are different from the Pro and Air. However, like the S1 Air, it gets steel wheels, drum brakes and a hub-mounted motor. The S1X+, which gets 3 KW battery pack, claims to have a range of 151 km and a top speed of 90 kmph.
