OnePlus 13 Set for October 31 Launch in China, Global Release Expected Early 2025

OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13. The official unveil is scheduled for October 31 in China, with a global release likely to follow in early 2025.

OnePlus has been building excitement through a series of teasers and leaks, and now we have a clear look at the upcoming smartphone's design. The OnePlus 13 features a distinctive circular camera array with an integrated flash and Hasselblad branding, set within a flat metal frame with OnePlus' signature alert slider.

Three colour options have been revealed: White, Blue, and Obsidian. The White variant resembles the Glacier White of its predecessor, while the Blue Moment introduces a unique texture. It offers a dual-tone design with a white camera island contrasting the blue body. The Obsidian Secret boasts an "ebony wood grain" textured finish for a sophisticated look.

While full specifications are yet to be disclosed, reports suggest the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. A large 6,000 mAh battery is also expected, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging. The device is also rumoured to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced durability.

The camera system is said to include a 50MP LYT808 primary sensor, a 50MP JN5 secondary camera, and a LYT600 3X periscope telephoto lens. Additional features may include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the world's first DisplayMate A++ screen, utilizing a self-developed P2 display chip.

OnePlus promised to reveal more details on October 23 before the official announcement.
