Deliveries of Mahindra’s new electric SUVs began on March 20, 2025.
Mahindra has delivered more than 3,000 units of the XEV 9e and BE 6 electric SUVs in India since deliveries began in March 2025. Currently, Mahindra is only delivering the top-spec Pack Three variants of the XEV 9e and BE 6.
Of all the bookings received by Mahindra, XEV 9e accounts for 59 per cent of the demand, while the rest (41 per cent) is for the BE 6. This means that more customers are preferring the larger XEV 9e, which is priced between ₹21.90 - 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The BE 6 is priced between ₹18.90 - 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Due to customer demand, Mahindra has also added a new ‘Default’ driving mode in the XEV 9e and BE 6. This new driving mode is set to emulate the driving experience of an internal combustion engine, which Mahindra says will make it easier for first-time buyers to adjust to an EV.
