The month saw Maruti Suzuki India Limited maintaining its lead position, followed by Tata Motors at the second spot, with both manufacturers capturing significant portions of the overall market share.

In the beginning of the financial year 2024-25, Maruti Suzuki held a market share of 40.25 per cent. In April 2025, the market share fell to 39.44 per cent. However, by October 2025, the company recovered to a market share of 43.44 per cent in the domestic market.
