2024 has just begun, and we have already witnessed the launches of the OnePlus 12 and Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Now, information about the Google Pixel 9 Pro has started to leak. Interestingly, there are purported leaked renders of the phone's design, which could feature a smaller screen than the current-generation model. It seems to draw design inspiration from the iPhone and the recently launched smaller Samsung Galaxy S24.

The leak originates from the quite reliable sources of OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. The screen of the phone is also flat, a design aspect that Google has maintained this year. The Pixel line's sides have been curved from the Pixel 6 through to the Pixel 8, but this appears set to change.
The volume rocker and power button remain on the right, while the SIM tray has been moved to the right of the USB Type-C port on the bottom. The camera bar seems to be inspired by the Pixel Fold, launched last year. The three cameras are again placed side by side, within an oblong bar.
Further details about the Pixel 9 Pro's purported dimensions have been disclosed. The Pixel 9 Pro might feature an 8.5mm thick frame, which is 0.3mm thinner than the Pixel 8 Pro. Additionally, the screen size is reported to be reduced to 6.5 inches from 6.7 inches.
This phone will be powered by the fourth-generation Tensor SoC, which is Google's own design.
